That the Prophet
(Allah's prayer and salvation be upon him) said : « I am given the sab'
(the first seven) in place of the torah, the mi'in (the next eleven) in place
of the zabur, the mathani (the next twenty) in place of the Injil, and am
honoured by the mufassal (till the ends of the Qur'an) ».
It mean :
(1) This is the Surah Al Fatiha as it is explained in other ahaadeeth. (2) These are the seven long surahs: Al Baqara No. 2, Al Imran No. 3, Al Nisa No.4, Al Maida No. 5, No. 6 Al An'am, Al Araf No. 7 and Tawba No. 9 (3) This is the portion from the Al Sura Houjourat No. 49 until the end of the Koran. No prophet before our Prophet (Allah's prayer and salvation be upon him) received the equivalent of Moufassal .
